By staying at Joey’s Beach House, you are accepting complete adherence and responsibility to the rules set forth in this document.

Check-in is required with our hosts after confirmation and payment is received. A unique key code to enter Joey’s Beach House will be provided to you upon checking in and will stay activated until the day of your departure.  
Joey’s Beach House accepts Visa, Master Card Discover and American Express. Personal checks, money orders and cash are not accepted. 
A $300 Security Deposit and an $85 cleaning fee is due upfront to hold the reservation. These funds are NON-REFUNDABLE should you decide to cancel.  However, if you cancel your reservation within 14 days prior to your arrival, your $300 Security Deposit may be used up to one year from date of original occupancy for a future reservation.  The $85 cleaning fee remains non-refundable due to the house being cleaned and stocked prior to your arrival.   
There is a 2 night minimum stay for ALL reservations, 3 nights minimum during any holiday period. For insurance purposes, you must be at least 25 yrs. old to rent this property and a valid ID must be presented to our staff prior to key code issuance. If it is found you are not 25 years or older upon check-in, all of your funds are forfeited and not returned.  Your total balance is due 14 days prior to check in. All non-confirmed rates, fees and policies are subject to change without notice.
No refunds or credits for late or delayed arrivals or delayed check-in's, early departures, or for leaving the home for mechanical failure of non-essential items. Our staff reserves the right to terminate your contract with no refund if any rules set forth have been ignored.
The home will be stocked for your arrival with paper products including tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, laundry soap, dish detergent, bar soap, shampoos, conditioners, and lotion.  Please leave the home in the same general condition, as it was when you arrived. Staff will arrive after your departure to thoroughly clean and inspect the home.  All food and drink spills should be cleaned up as they occur. Food and drink spills on carpet in downstairs bedrooms are considered to be damage, not normal wear and tear.  THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD, DRINKS OR PETS ALLOWED IN THE HOT TUB AREA AT ANY TIME!  Prior to leaving, the refrigerator should be emptied of all food and free of spills. All used dishes should be rinsed and placed in the dishwasher on the wash-cycle and put away in the appropriate cupboards respectfully.  Additional housekeeping charges may also be applied in the occurrence of exceeding the maximum occupancy of Joey’s Beach House without prior approval.
Well groomed and well behaved pets are warmly welcomed at Joey’s Beach House, however, owners are fully responsible for any and all damage their pets may cause.  Please note that many items in Joey’s Beach House are very unique and irreplaceable. We know our kids (pets) get on the furniture from time to time, but please respect future guests and cover the furniture with the provided sheets in your "Pet Spa Package."  Please respect Joey’s things and be watchful of your furry companion(s) at ALL times.  A $10 per night/per pet fee is charged not to exceed a maximum of 2 pets per night.
10PM-9AM - MONITORED AND ENFORCED BY OUR STAFF AND THE FULL TIME RESIDENTS AT HIGHLAND BLUFF. Joey’s Beach House is located in a private Pacific Beach neighborhood. Please respect the desire of full time residents and other guests in honoring quiet time.
Upon the hosts cleaning and inspection of the home, an assessment is made to refund your $300 Security Deposit provided the house is left in relatively the same condition as when you arrived.  It can take up to 10 business days for your deposit to be returned to your credit card, depending on the your credit card company.
